Details We have an essential curriculum on vital-sign and physical assessment training program provided in cooperation with Ehime University School of Medicine, which had long-established experience of simulation education, as a part of “Preclinical Training for Clinical Pharmacy Practice” for the pharmaceutical fourth grade students. The understandings of the physical assessment performed by the pharmacist were improved with progression of the practical training. In addition, the result of each practice item using the analysis of customer satisfaction demonstrated that focused improvement items were “BMI”, “SpO2” and “echocardiogram”, which were extracted among in-campus and out-campus practical trainings, respectively. We will continue to promote an educational cooperation between both universities, and develop the practical training that can lead to a further increase in understanding of pharmaceutical students.
