| Details | We present the outcomes of the “GEKITAI-Cup”, an esports tournament hosted in Ainan town, Ehime, Japan, centered around the game "Identity V". As part of a regional innovation project, we oversaw the tournament's second iteration and contributed to its planning and execution. This paper discusses the potential of esports as a tool for regional innovation, illuminated through our experiences in project management and marketing. |
