Details | This study presents an observation from simulated models of Diffusion of Virtual Currency using artisoc4.0 MAS. Virtual Currency systems are prevalent in and around the world as is seen in the success of Bit Coin. It may be considered as an application of diffusions of networked goods. Even so, it is meaningful to study how virtual currency systems are diffused in a closed economy. By using MAS, a simulated artificial society is constructed, and observations are presented. As a result, a coexistence equilibrium of Virtual Currency and National Currency can be observed. |
